BAAQMD funds remodel of Trillium CNG's Berkeley station

This upgrade was completed on May 31, 2018.

An extensive remodel to improve overall infrastructure of the Trillium CNG station in Berkeley, California, is underway. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) has provided funds to complete the upgrade. Ingress and egress at the location will be expanded in order to more easily accommodate larger medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.

This project was funded in part by the Air District’s Transportation Fund for Clean Air Program, which provides grant funding to projects that reduce on-road motor vehicle emissions within the Air District’s jurisdiction in order to improve air quality in the region.

In addition to the installation of a new valve panel, a brand new Kraus-Gilbarco pump dispenser and an Ariel Compressor will provide faster fills to an overall enhanced fueling experience.

The project is scheduled to be completed this spring. The Berkeley station remodel is another example of Trillium’s commitment to maximizing station reliability.
